Friends of Royal Holloway Choirs

The Choir of Royal Holloway is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new patronage scheme designed to allow a closer relationship between the choir and its supporters as well as safeguarding the future of Royal Holloway as a centre for choral excellence.

The Choir of Royal Holloway has achieved significant recognition both at home in the UK and on the International stage for both their concerts and recordings. The choir therefore makes a valuable contribution to both the univeristy, local and wider communities. Other choral singing opportunities are also offered at Royal Holloway alongside those available to our choral scholars. Founder's Choir, the non-auditioned chamber of around 40 singers sings regularly in the chapel, and the Royal Holloway Chorus, also open to members of the local community, offers opportunities to sing larger choral works often with orchestra.

Although choral scholarships are generously funded by the Santander Universities Scheme, over half of the work of Royal Holloway Choirs is still funded by the goodwill of its supporters. Your membership of this new Friends scheme will therefore not only enable the continuation of these choirs but also allow us to thank you for your support by offering you exclusive benefits.
