Rupert Gough

Rupert is the choir’s director. He is responsible for the creative planning and artistic direction of the choir. Within the college he also oversees the Founder’s Choir and College Chorus, as well as teaching Choral Conducting and the Organ. Rupert is also Director of Music at St. Bartholomew-the-Great, London. Elizabeth (Ellie) manages the day-to-day administration of the choir, including the weekly concert series, recordings, tours and other activities. She is also the first point of contact for scholarships, queries about other choirs at Royal Holloway, and for enquiring about hiring us for weddings and funerals.
Mark Wilde
Vocal Consultant

Mark is the choir’s Vocal Consultant. This involves teaching some of the choral scholars in one-on-one lessons to support their work in the choir. Mark is a highly experienced teacher, and is a Professor of Singing at the Royal Academy of Music and a Trustee of Waterperry Opera Festival.
