Carson Cooman: Sacred Choral Music

1 In stock

Young American Carson Cooman is a prolific composer. His music is more harmonically advanced than his fellow countrymen Lauridsen and Whitacre, yet his music remains immediately accessible to the listener, and begs repeated listening. Enjoy this recording of his sacred choral music, including a setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis for St. Peter's Church, Mass., and a short mass that uses the organ to wonderfully colourful effect.
